It can't be understated how important "experience" is on a cyber job-seeker's resume. Internships are a great way to develop important and eye-catching experience. But landing an internship can be hard. Applications must usually be submitted the year before. This extensive list of upcoming internships posted here was prepared by the CyberForce Competition and reprinted with their permission.

Community College Internship (CCI)
Each year, students from around the country participate in CCI at one of the 17 participating Department of Energy (DOE) laboratories/facilities.
Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internships (SULI)
Each year, students from around the country participate in SULI at one of the 17 participating DOE laboratories/facilities.
- Be currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited institution. Full-time enrollment is determined by the number of hours or courses the school requires for full-time attendance.

DOE Scholars Program
The program is designed to promote DOE's strategic objectives of creating a pipeline of highly qualified participants in disciplinary fields that support programs in mission-critical areas.
Meet one of the following conditions:
- Be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited institution of higher education.
- Have completed an undergraduate or graduate degree within five years of the intended start date.
- Be a U.S. military Veteran who has been honorably discharged and/or who has been medically discharged because of a service-connected disability and who received a college degree in an appropriate discipline within ten years of the desired start date.
- Have completed a qualifying certificate program within one year of the desired start date.
