The Cybersecurity Center of Excellence has funding for community and technical college instructors teaching cybersecurity in Washington state. The CCoE has approved funding for online certifications, in-person conferences, workshops, and teacher academies. Have something in mind? Eligibility
- Must be a faculty member at a Washington state community or technical college.
- Either currently teaching cybersecurity, or planning to add cybersecurity to your curriculum.
Requirements
- Awards are non-transferable.
- Your application must be approved to get funding.
- The CCoE is not responsible for costs incurred if your application is not approved.
- Stipends for conferences are paid after you attend the event.
- You are responsible for making all of your travel arrangements including registering for the event.
- Stipends are not reimbursements and are considered income. You will receive a 1099 at the end of the year.
- For classes or exams, you will need to pre-pay.
- After you submit your receipts and enrollment verification the CCoE will process your reimbursement.
- Reimbursements are not considered income.
- You can submit multiple funding applications.
- Award amounts are limited to $2,500 per individual.
Selection Process
- Only complete applications will be considered.
- Applications that emphasize positive impacts on underserved students will be prioritized.
