Ryan Bergsma

Ryan Bergsma is the Technology Director and Security Manager at the Cloud Security Alliance.

Cloud Security Alliance is a non-profit organization formed to promote the best practices for cybersecurity within cloud computing. They also provide education, research, and assessments for companies regarding information security readiness.

Strategic Initiatives include such topics as AI safety, zero trust architecture, governance and compliance, block chain, and much more.

Ryan is proud to be an alumni of Whatcom Community College, and a graduate of the WWU Bachelor's Degree program in computer science - cybersecurity. Back in 2015, a successful internship as a research analyst at the Cloud Security Alliance evolved into permanent employment there for Ryan. He now enjoys learning about the latest methods to secure cloud assets and sharing that knowledge as broadly as possible.

Today he kindly participates as an advisory board member for the CCoE at Whatcom Community College.
