Conventient training to help educators earn industry certifications. Presented by The Western Academy Support and Training (WASTC).

Are you struggling to find time for professional development? WASTC, in partnership with the CCoE, offers instructor-led courses that meet virtually on Saturday mornings for one month—designed to fit your schedule.

Instructors currently teaching at Washington State community and technical colleges are eligible for a scholarship covering full tuition. Instructors must be teaching cybersecurity or want to add cybersecurity to their courses.

Each of the following courses are offered on Saturday mornings in 2-hour online sessions. The total cost for each series is $600. The CCoE will reimburse qualifying educators.

 Instructor Fast Tracks (IFT) 

If you’re already a subject matter expert in these topics, you might want to bypass the instructor training for a more direct path to certification. Successful candidates will pass a skills-based assessment and also be a holder of an existing, related, industry certificate. To schedule an IFT, contact Karen Stanton.
