Nichole Schmitt

Nichole Schmitt is a 20 year veteran of the tech industry. She is an alumni of Bellevue College. While employed by IBM and, later, Hitachi Data Systems, Nichole performed QA, Technical Support for Sales, and Product Ownership. She enjoyed working on new technologies as they emerged and matured. With critical and creative thinking, she tested and provided feedback to hardware and software developers, thereby helping to shape some of the technologies that are still in use today.

From 2020 to 2023, Nichole taught online classes in IT Fundamentals and Cybersecurity. These experiences fuel Nichole's excitement as she strives to help Washington colleges in their quest to provide the best cybersecurity education.
