Mark Neufville
Cybersecurity Instructor and NCAE-C program point of contact
Mark Neufville has over 20 years of I.T. industry experience working for the United States Marine Corps, Gonzaga University I.T. department, Microsoft Corporation, and Hewlett-Packard. Mark spent the past 11 years as a Spokane Falls Community College instructor, including 3 years at Big Bend Community College. He is passionate about information technology/cybersecurity. He has an MEd from Eastern Washington University Adult Education, a B.S. in Technology, a B.S. in Information System Security, AAS Information Technology Computer Network Systems, AAS Information Technology Network Security, and Computer Forensics.
Mark serves as Spokane Falls Community College's Point of Contact (POC) for the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) program, managed by NSA's National Cryptologic School, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)/National Initiative on Cybersecurity Education (NICE), and National Cybersecurity Training and Education Center (NCyTE). Mark is also a founding member of Inland Northwest Cyber Hub 360 (INCH 360), a collaboration between industry partners, academia, and government in Spokane and around Eastern Washington. He is very passionate about educating the next generation, impacting the workforce. Mark has worked tirelessly to seek out local and statewide industry partners to create and secure student internship positions.
Mark also works with the Public Infrastructure Security Cyber Education System (PISCES) in collaboration with multiple colleges and universities, including Cyber Range Poulsbo (CRP).
