Co-Designing the Future of Learning

A hands-on human-centered design training on the real challenges you face — and leave with solutions that stick.

We've all been there. You've had a promising conversation with an employer that went nowhere. You've felt the pressure to launch something before you were sure it would land. You've been handed input you didn't ask for and had to make it work anyway. This work takes real effort — and too much of it doesn't stick. There has to be a better way. There is, and it has a name: human-centered design. This workshop gives you the steps, the tools, and the practice to solve the right problems, the right way — on purpose.

You won't just hear about human-centered design — you'll do it. Over two days, you'll work through real situations you'll recognize, alongside people from across your institution, building the shared understanding that makes solutions actually take hold.

What you'll walk away able to do:

  • See challenges through the eyes of the people they affect — students, employers, and others in your ecosystem
  • Challenge assumptions you didn't know you were making, and spot real barriers and opportunities
  • Use HCD tools to define problems, generate ideas, and develop solutions worth advancing
  • Leave with a practical toolkit and concrete ideas to improve learner and workforce outcomes

What you'll walk away feeling:

  • Curious about the people you serve — and confident the best solutions start with them
  • Ready to take on complex challenges with a real method behind you
  • Valued as a contributor whose perspective and expertise matter
  • Energized to experiment, collaborate, and keep going
